Cancellation Policy

Subject of the Agreement The consultant offers psychological counseling sessions on topics such as personal development, emotional distress, relationship issues, self-esteem, and crisis management. The counseling aims to promote psychological stabilization, self-reflection, and the development of personal resources, as well as stress and emotion regulation. It does not replace psychotherapy as defined by the Psychotherapist Act or medical treatment. Should it become apparent during the course of the counseling that a mental disorder with clinical significance is present, the consultant will inform the client about appropriate therapeutic or medical services. Procedure and Duration of Sessions A counseling session lasts 60 minutes and takes place online by appointment. The frequency and total duration of the counseling will be agreed upon individually between the parties. Cancellation Policy: Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. For cancellations made later or in the event of a no-show, the full fee will be charged. Confidentiality and Data Protection (GDPR) All information shared during counseling sessions will be treated confidentially and is subject to psychological confidentiality. Personal data (e.g., name, contact details, session notes) will be collected and stored solely for the purpose of conducting the counseling sessions. This data will not be shared with third parties. The storage and processing of data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Disclaimer The counselor assumes no liability for decisions or actions taken by the client based on the counseling sessions. The client remains solely responsible for her actions and decisions at all times. Termination of Counseling The collaboration can be terminated by either party at any time without giving reasons. Contacting the Counselor Outside of Sessions In acute crises or emergencies, the client is obligated to contact medical or psychotherapeutic emergency services (e.g., emergency number 112, local crisis service, general practitioner, or psychiatric clinic). Final Provisions This contract is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Should any provision of this contract be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
